July 17, 1931 – August 12, 2018
Wallace C. Reynolds went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, August 12, 2018 at his residence in Homewood.
Wallace is survived by his loving wife, Ramona Rhodes Reynolds; daughters; Mona Carol Johnson and Crystal J. Reynolds; granddaughters; Meredith and Madison Johnson; brother; David Reynolds (Cindy) and sister, Daisy White; two cousins; Bobby Carroll (Carolyn) and Louise Smith and a host of nieces and nephews who loved him very much.
Wallace loved his family, his work, and association with the church and community. Wallace loved his country, serving twenty-four years in Alabama Air National Guard.
Wallace was retired from the City of Birmingham as chief of Building Inspections. He was a charter member of the Oakmont United Methodist Church (now known as Trinity West).
After retiring Wallace was active in Homewood community service where he was instrumental in establishing the Homewood Senior Center and served on its Board of Directors.
A Memorial Service will be held at Trinity West United Methodist Church (Oakmont United Methodist Church), 914 Oak Grove Road, Homewood, Alabama on August 15, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. with Military Honors. Rev. Jack Hinnen and Rev. Alex Oberneder will officiate. A Celebration of his life for friends and family will follow in the church fellowship hall.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Wounded Warrior Project, P. O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas. 66675 and spread Christian love every day.
