Walter McBrayer, age 84, of Hueytown, Al expired of March 23, 2013 at
home. Walter was a graduate of Jones Valley High School. He attended
Lake View Community Church of God and Hueytown Church of God. Walter
had retired from U.S. Steel.

Walter is survived by his wife: Carolyn McBrayer; late wife: Ann
Glaydene McBrayer; daughter: Brenda Frederick (Sherman); sons: the
late Walter A. (Bubba) McBrayer, Douglas Robert McBrayer, Joel
Bradford McBrayer; three step-children: Randy Shelton. Kenneth Shelton
and Donna Shelton Smith; 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild, 6
step-grandchildren and 6 step-great grandchildren, numerous nieces and
nephews and a host of friends.

The funeral services for Walter McBrayer will be held on Wednesday
March 27th, 2013 at Valhalla Funeral Home at 1pm, with a visitation
from 12 noon till 1pm. Internment will take place at Valhalla
Cemetery.
