Obituary

Wanda Kay Cunningham, age 67, of Calera died Monday, September 19, 2016 at Shelby Baptist Hospital.

Mrs. Cunningham was a native of Pulaski, Tennessee where she lived her early life. She resided in Jefferson and Shelby counties for the past forty-two years where she was the owner and operator of Handi Helpers Cleaning, Inc. Mrs. Cunningham was a member of Calera Freewill Baptist Church and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Minnie Wilkerson; two brothers, Henry and Dale Wilkerson and a sister, Gertha "Sam" Enloe.

She is survived by her husband, Danny Cunningham; three sons, Robert Alan Burrows (Shauna), John Burrows (Jeffery Neaves), and Kevin Burrows (Sarita); two step sons, Bradley and Adam Cunningham; one step daughter, Kristy Bruce (Jason); seven grandchildren and one great grandchild; and three brothers, Wiley Wilkerson (Joyce), Timmy Fielding (Shelia), and Billy Ray Fielding.

Services will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at 2:30 at Valhalla Chapel with burial to follow in Valhalla Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, September 22, 2016 from 10:00 A. M. until 12 noon and from 1:30 to 2:30 at Valhalla Chapel.
