age 54, of Birmingham passed away October 6, 2006. He was an assistant business agent for IATSE local #78 and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was a devoted father and grandfather. He served in the Air Force and is a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his mother, Wanda Lee. His presence and loving humorous spirit will be missed.
He is survived by Paul (Amanda), Dustin (Amber) and Shawn Whaley; daughter, Brittany Whaley; grandchildren, Courtney Nicholas and Nathan Whaley; father, Charley Whaley; sisters, Linda Wall (Tim), Vickie Short (Morrie) and Stacey Robinson (Chris).
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, October 10, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel at Valhalla Funeral Home. Bishop Clifton Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in Valhalla Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Valhalla Funeral Home Directing.
