Hardin, Willard D., age 70, passed away Monday, March 23, 2009. He was born in Moulton, AL. He retired after 16 years of service with Jefferson County. Mr. Hardin was a member of Pine Lane Church of Christ, Bessemer, AL. Mr Hardin was a carpenter and was associated with the Assistance League of Birmingham. He is survived by his wife, Melba Hardin; sons, Barry and Dwight Hardin, both of McCalla; brothers, Estes Hardin of Moulton, AL, Edsel (Earline) Hardin of Decatur, AL and Eldon (Kathleen) Hardin of Forestdale, AL; many nieces, nephews and special friends. Funeral Services will be held at Valhalla Funeral Home Thursday, March 26,. 2009 at 1:00 p.m. with burial in Valhalla Cemetery. Bro. Terry Benton officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 26, 2009 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
