born June 9, 1935, passed away Monday, February 1, 2010 in Pelham, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his parents, J. Frank Moore and Eva Carnes Moore. He is survived by his son, R. Brian Moore of Shelby County, Alabama and his daughters, Michelle A. Moore of Indianapolis, Indiana and Wendy Moore of Santa Maria, California; granddaughters, Jessica Moore and Abigail Moore, both of Franklin, Indiana; brothers, Paul R. (Jo Ann) Moore of Smoke Rise, Alabama and Jack L. (Rosa Lee) Moore of Tullahoma, Tennessee and six nieces. Billy served in the U.S. Navy. He later worked as a munitions tester and then as a painter. He was a Mason, an avid Crimson Tide fan and he loved to fish. Visitation will be Friday, February 5, from Noon until 2:00 pm at which time the interment will take place in Valhalla Cemetery.
