William Hallman (W.H.), 80, of Bessemer, AL, passed away on April 7, 2013 at a local hospital.

W.H. grew up in Lacey''s Chapel and lived in Eastern Valley for 55 years. He worked at R.L. Zeigler and Allied Signal.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 41 years: Louise Mahan Hallman. He is survived by his daughter: Liesa (Billy) Parker, sister: Florrie (Joe) Davis, and a host of nieces and nephews and many special friends.

There will be a visitation for Mr. Hallman from 6 to 8p.m. Tuesday, April 9, at Valhalla Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at Valhalla Cemetery at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 10. Pallbearers: Ken Davis, Terry Davis, Jim Mahan, Kerry Pate, Ron Pate, and David Hereford. Honorary pallbearers: Jim Baswell, T.Z. Stringfellow, Daryle Boren, Reggie Ray, Kenneth Mann, and John Herndon.
