Kines, William Edward , age 82, of Alabaster, AL passed away Friday, January 9, 2009. Mr. Kines served two years in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He worked for Alabama Power Co. for over 43 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church Alabaster for 33 years. Funeral Services will be held at First Baptist Church Alabaster Monday, January 12, 2009 at 12:00 Noon with burial in Valhalla Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. Rev. Wayne Crumpton officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 12, 2009 from 10:00 until Noon at the church. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Faye Rosamond Kines; sons, Larry (Teresa) Kines and James Edward Kines; daughter, Sharon (Jeff) Joiner; grandchildren, Billy (Tanya) Kines, Janet (Brandon) McLeod, Micah Kines, Isaac Kines, Eli Joiner and Hannah Rose Joiner; great grandsons, Mitchell Kines and Andrew McLeod; sister, Mary Ann Lee; brothers, Joe Kines and Johnny Kines.
