November 3, 1926 – February 2, 2021
William Henry Vice (Harley Man aka Bill), age 94 of Lake View, Alabama passed away

Simpson.
He is survived by son Michael (Merlyn) Vice, daughter Cindy (Buddy) Nelson, son Randy
(susan) Vice; sisters Christine Cook, Geraline (Gene) Tilley; brother Junior Vice and sister
in law Louise French; granddaughters Stori Vice Nelson Phillips, Katie Nelson Gates,
Ryanne Nelson; grandsons Jacob Vice, Daniel Vice, Zach Vice; great grandchildren Kaylie

Bryar Gates, Caden Vice, Ryley Nelson, William Cooper Phillips, Tanner Gates, Kameron
Gates and a girl due in June; great great granddaughter Oakleigh Hyche and a boy due in
April; plus numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and MOTORCYCLES.
Bill retired from US Steel (formerly TCI) after 48 years as a Master Electrician. He is a
WWII Veteran with ties to Korea. Bill was a proud member of the Mason's. At the time of
his death he had earned the status of 60+ Master Mason. He purchased his first Harley in
1948 and rode until age 90. He took great pleasure in driving as fast as possible or as slow
enough to drive one crazy. He didn't like to be passed and loved to get police to pull him over
just to talk himself out of another potential ticket.
Mr. Bill loved McDonald's sausage gravy biscuits, corn bread, fried tators, pineapple
pudding and his senior discount. He loved to entertain others with the stories of his life. What
a life he lived!!! He accepted Christ as his Savior in February, 2010. A few years later he was
baptized.
William Henry loved family. Family meant everything to him. He loved his wife and she
him. It is somewhat unclear which he loved the most next...his children or his Harleys. May
be a toss up.
Dad lived a life that very few ever get to live. He grabbed life and my mom with both hands
and never let go. He and mother are now riding on that great Harley in the sky. Riding
together forever.
