Mr. Winston Jennings, age 94, died peacefully at his home on Saturday, June 18, 2016. Winston was born February 11, 1922 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the son of John and Clara Jennings. Winston retired after 39 years from the Liberty Lines Transit before relocating to Alabama. He was the consummate family man reaching out to all, both young and old a like, making all to feel welcome and at home in his presence. His love was easy to experience as his aim was to make sure it was felt.

He leaves to cherish fond memories, his wife, Gladys Jennings, two children daughter, Oshey Bee(Ronald) Price of Queens, NY, son, Winston Jennings Jr.(Antionette) of North Carolina, two marriage daughters Brenda Thomas, Christine McKeithan, Cheryl Brooks and Phyllis Appling-Shannon and a host of other extended family including grandchildren, great-grand children, nieces and nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 22 at 2 pm at Valhalla Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Claude Shufford officiating.
